As an old boy of Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte, it brings me immense pride to now serve as the Chief Executive of our Old Boys’ Association. For over 135 years, our beloved school has stood tall in the historic city of Kotte – not just as an institution of learning, but as a cradle of creativity, courage, and character.
Walking through those familiar school gates today, I still feel the same energy and hope we once carried as young students. That spirit lives on – in the classrooms, the playgrounds, and most of all, in the hearts of every Sastralian.
Leading the OBA is not just a role for me – it’s a personal mission. A mission to give back to the place that shaped who I am, and to ensure that future generations have even better opportunities than we did. Together with my fellow old boys, we are committed to supporting the dreams of today’s students, and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among past pupils.
Let’s continue this journey – hand in hand, heart to heart – to honour our school, empower our youth, and keep the Sastralian spirit alive for years to come.
